PETERBOROUGH host Newcastle in the Championship on Saturday (7pm) in a meeting which is also part of the MCN Festival.
A big crowd is expected with motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country in attendance at the East of England Arena throughout the weekend.
Supporters should be aware of the following arrangements for Saturday’s meeting:
• The speedway starts at 7pm with gates opening at 6pm.
• The stadium will be cleared of day-visitors to the MCN Festival at around 5pm and they will need to re-enter to attend the speedway. Entry to MCN Festival on the day does not also give entry to the speedway.
• The only people who will remain on-site after the stadium is cleared will be those with MCN accreditation or those camping for the weekend.
• Entry to the speedway will be via Gate 2 (old entrance), just to the right of the riders’ sign-in gate.
• Disabled parking will be on the grass section just prior to the entrance (to the left of the access road).
• All other parking will be on the grass section to the right of the access road, from which supporters can walk up to Gate 2.
Saturday’s meeting offers us a great opportunity to showcase the sport with a far larger and wider-ranging audience likely to be in attendance.
We are expecting a big crowd with the weather forecast good, and we would urge supporters to arrive as early as possible, especially if you wish to secure your usual grandstand seat.
