PANTHERS star Scott Nicholls is looking for a second successive Championship Fours gold medal at the East of England Arena on Sunday – but this time with a different team!

Nicholls, a seven-time British Champion, is representing Leicester after Peterborough’s promotion to the Premiership.
A bumper crowd is expected for a festival of speedway with fans set to travel from all parts of the UK.
And Nicholls said: “Last year was the first time I’d been it for some time, and really it’s a totally different mentality with all the different teams involved.
“I felt Peterborough were really professional with the way they approached the meeting, they went there to win it and they got the result.
“Now it would be really nice to go there with Leicester and go there with the same attitude and the same mentality.
“We’re having a good run at the moment, we’re a strong team and doing very well in the league, so it would be nice to get a reward for what we’ve done so far.
“Leicester is also a well-supported club, and the fans have been brilliant with me and the team.
“They always turn out and get right behind us, and let’s face it Leicester have had quite a few seasons where results have been below-par, so they deserve a good result as much as anyone else.
“We’ll go there in determined mood and do the best we can to bring back trophies.
“The Fours can be a very long day, but it’s just a case of working together, communicating, keeping an eye on the track, and ultimately doing the job you have to do when it counts.”
The event features all 11 Championship clubs chasing a top four spot for the final. That means a total of 24 races.
Admission is £20 adults, £15 concessions, children 5-15 £4 and Under 5s are free. A special souvenir programme, including much more from Nicholls, has been produced and will be available for £4.
Gates open at 12.30 with the parade at 1.45 and tapes up at 2pm.
