PANTHERS owner Keith Chapman is back in the country - and he’s immediately got down to business!
Chapman has taken the city side into Speedway Great Britain’s Premiership after saving the club this winter.
Now he’s ready to launch some new work on the East of England Arena track at the Showground in a bid to provide the best surface possible for the return of top flight racing this spring.
And he’s put pen to paper to seal the deal with venue boss Jason Lunn.
He said: “It’s a busy time right now. I got back from my trip and got straight back into it.
“I’m working to provide the best opportunity for riders to show their skills at Peterborough and everyone knows I take great pride in this.
“I will work hard on the surface and then leave it to Colin Pratt (promoter) to take care of it as he is also an expert on track preparation.
“It’s time for everyone to be positive about the Premiership, I predict an exciting season and I’m pleased to have played a part in keeping Peterborough racing.”
