BICKLEY IS BEST OF BRITISH AGAIN

KYLE Bickley reigned supreme at the East of England Showground to defend his British 125cc title without dropping a point yesterday (July 20).

The reigning champion triumphed in all four of his heats before speeding clear in the final.

Harry McGurk, who had also been unbeaten until facing Bickley in their final heat, came home second in the showpiece race with Jordan Jenkins taking third.

Joe Thompson brought up the rear in the final after beating twin brother Dan in their final heat to advance.

The trophies were presented in front of a packed grandstand ahead of the opening heat of Peterborough's triumph over previously unbeaten Edinburgh in the Premier League.

British 125cc Final scores: Kyle Bickley 12pts, Harry McGurk 11, Joe Thompson 9, Jordan Jenkins 8, Sam Stead 8, Dan Thompson 7, Kieron Douglas 5, James Hitchen 4, Kyle Roberts 3, Jamie Halder 2, Sam McGurk 2, Kai Hubbard 1.
