SEMI-FINAL CLARIFICATION

Sunday October 14, 2018
PETERBOROUGH can confirm they have yet to agree a re-staging date for the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final against Lakeside.

The meeting at Rye House was rained off for a second time on Sunday, and the Hammers have already stated their intention for the meeting to run on October 21.

But this has not been agreed between both clubs, and Panthers’ position is complicated by the need to book three guests for their injured riders.

Club owner Ged Rathbone said: “We appreciate that it’s late in the season and that meetings need to be put on as soon as possible.

“However, our whole season comes down to this one meeting, and we owe it to our fans to go there with a team that’s competitive.

“No date has been agreed from the Peterborough side, but we will do our utmost to get a team together and get the meeting on as soon as we can.”
